§ Mr. Iain MacleodAbout 90 men with coalmining experience have applied for coalmining employment in Easington during the last six months. Eleven of them were submitted to vacancies and194W seven were accepted for employment. The remainder were interviewed and invited, as no local vacancies existed, to consider vacancies away from home, but all of them refused to do so.
