HC Deb 19 February 1957 vol 565 cc50-1W
90. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he has yet been acquainted formally with the latest proposals of the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in respect of international tension and of Middle East problems in particular; and whether Her Majesty's Government has yet given consideration to these proposals.

Mr. Ian Harvey

Yes. As the Prime Minister informed the House on 14th February, the Soviet proposals are being studied with care in consultation with our American and French allies.
