asked the Minister of Labour when his survey of the industrial health of the town of Halifax will be completed and the Report made available; and whether he will make an interim statement.

Mr. Carr

As stated in the reply to the hon. Member for Newton (Mr. Lee) on 30th October last, the survey has been completed and the Report is being given detailed consideration. I do not think it would help to make an interim statement. The Report contains considerable information which was collected on a confidential basis and this will affect the question of publication.
