§ 66. Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if, in view of the wide difference of interpretation of Section 8 (1) (c) of the Rating and Valuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1955, by local authorities, resulting in a denial of the intended protection of amateur sports clubs, he will introduce declaratory legislation or take other appropriate action.
§ Mr. BrookeI do not think that I could shoulder any further legislation at the moment, or that there is any other action which I could appropriately take.
