HC Deb 11 February 1957 vol 564 cc130-1W
104. Mr. Beswick

asked the Paymaster-General if he is aware that the Intercontinental Air Caterers Limited of Harlington, who are under contract to victual aircraft at London Airport for four major international airlines, and the D. and G. Transport Limited, of Harlington, who are under contract to ferry aircrews to and from London Airport for three international airlines, are unable to fulfil their obligations on their present petrol allocation; and if, after studying the details sent by the hon. Member for Uxbridge which show that airlines uplift aviation fuel, although petrol is not adequately available for the necessary ground service, he will authorise a larger allocation of petrol for these firms.

Mr. Maudling

I am writing to the hon. Member.
