§ 46. Mr. Lewisasked the Prime Minister if he will ascertain and publish in HANSARD a list of Members of Her Majesty's Government who have financial connections with any business or businesses that have received Government contracts; and if he will give directions that, where a Minister has shares or financial interests in a company or business, he will disclose the same before such firm is granted Government contracts.
§ The Prime MinisterThe general principles which govern the conduct of Ministers in this matter are clearly set out in the statement to which the hon. Gentleman's attention has already been drawn. In these circumstances I see no occasion for the action suggested.
