§ 86. Mr. Stonehouseasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether he will arrange for National Insurance contributions now paid at full rate by students employed part-time to be adjusted according to the number of days worked.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterI think all part-time workers should be dealt with on the same basis. I hope shortly to lay regulations to increase to 8 hours for part-time workers the present 4-hour period of work which in any one week involves the payment of contributions as an employed person.
