Mr. Beanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies on what basis decisions are reached in the dependent territories for the compilation of prescribed lists of seditious publications; and to what extent consultation with the United Kingdom Government takes place before such lists are finally agreed.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydDecisions to ban a publication in a Colonial Territory in the public interest rest entirely with the Government of the territory in the light of local circumstances.
§ 58. Mr. Bennasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will state the names of those territories where prescribed lists of seditious publications have been promulgated; and if he will circulate those lists in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
