69. Mr. Slaterasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is being done to intensify the geological survey in British Guiana.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydSurveys are continuously in progress with substantial assistance from C.D. & W. funds. Four thousand square miles were geologically mapped during 1956. Schemes have been approved involving further expenditure of £437,000 up to 1960.
