HC Deb 12 March 1956 vol 550 c6W
Mr. Dodds

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what progress has been made in the discussions concerning better provisions for obtaining visas for Japan by British subjects; and what Colonial Territories the Japanese authorities desire to include in any arrangements that are made.

Mr. Dodds-Parker

Further progress is not possible until we have received the considered views of the Colonial Territories concerned. These are Hong Kong, Singapore and the Federation of Malaya.
