§ 57. Mr. D. Howellasked the Minister of Health what further action he has taken concerning the shortage of cooks in hospitals under the control of the Dudley Road, Birmingham No. 24 Group, Hospital Management Committee; and what reply he has received following his submission to the appropriate Whitley Council.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithI understand that the staffing position in these hospitals has now improved. The Whitley Council has recently agreed to pay increases for all ancillary workers, and is also further reviewing the rates for cooks.
