§ 66. Mr. G. Robertsasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty what representations he has received about the facilities at Port Dinorwic, in the County of Caernarvon, for laying up small vessels; and what action he proposes to take to use these facilities.
§ Mr. Wingfield DigbyThe Managing Director of the Dinorwic Slate Quarries Company Limited suggested Port Dinorwic for laying up small naval vessels in reserve in a letter to the Admiralty dated 8th June. If it should become necessary to lay up vessels in this area the use of Port Dinorwic would be considered.
