§ 56. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that the foundation of Kano Orthopaedic Hospital were dug over two years ago; and what is the reason for the delay in the completion of this building.
§ Mr. HareThe Public Works Department undertook preparatory work in March, 1954, while detailed estimates for the cost of the hospital were being prepared. When these were received, the funds had to be provided. This has now been done. Tenders, which were invited in November, are now being considered.
