Mr. Watkins

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what acreage of derelict woodlands has been reafforested in each of the Welsh counties by the Forestry Commission and private owners, respectively, for the years 1954 and 1955.

The acreage of felled and derelict woodland replanted by the Forestry Commission in Wales and an estimate of that replanted by private owners in the years ended 30th September, 1954 and 1955, is shown in the following tables:
