HC Deb 02 August 1956 vol 557 c191W
Mr. Kimball

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in view of the fact that the Rabbits Bill has been dropped, he will give an assurance that it remains the policy of Her Majesty's Government to prevent the spreading of wild rabbits.

Mr. Amory

Yes. The spreading of wild rabbits is strongly deprecated. The Government remain entirely in favour of the objects of the Bill referred to and regret that it has not been possible to afford facilities for legislation through lack of Parliamentary time.
