Friend has approved the proposals submitted to him by the Gas Council and area gas boards and has approved in principle those submitted by the Central Electricity Authority and area electricity boards, for increasing the pensions of ex-company pensioners in these two industries; and he has written to my hon. Friend outlining these proposals.
