§ 15. Dr. Kingasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what would be the annual cost of conceding the claim of the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen's Association for an extra allowance for the ageing limbless ex-Service men.
§ Brigadier SmythI presume the hon. Member has in mind the claim for an additional 10s. a week for 100 per cent. disablement and proportionately smaller amounts for other degrees of disablement. The annual cost of applying such an increase to all 1914-War limbless pensioners, if it could be restricted to them, would be about £400,000.
