§ 105. Major Legge-Bourkeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will arrange for interest to be paid on outstanding development charge claims as from 30th June last, when interest ceased, and until such time as claims have been repaid.
§ Mr. SandysNo. Under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1954, interest is reckoned in every case from 1st July, 1948, so that those concerned will receive seven years' interest, although in few cases will it be as much as seven years since the development charge was paid.
