asked the Minister of Health how many people in this country are certified as lepers; how many leper hospitals or wings of hospitals there are in the United Kingdom; and where they are situated.

In England and Wales there are 164 notified leprosy patients and two special hospitals for them, one near Redhill, Surrey, the other near Chelmsford, Essex.
