Mr. Foot

asked the Minister of Labour the number of registered unemployed persons at the Plymouth and Devonport employment exchanges in 1952, 1951, 1948, 1933, 1925, and at the most recent date.

asked the Minister of Labour how many disabled persons there are registered at the Plymouth and Devonport employment exchanges at the most convenient recent date; and how this compares with the figure for a year ago.

Mr. Watkinson

On 17th January, 1955, there were 262 registered disabled persons (including 23 severely disabled) unemployed at the Plymouth and Devon-port employment exchanges. On 18th January, 1954, the number was 333 (including 27 severely disabled).
