§ Mr. Doddsasked the First Lord of the Admiralty to make a statement giving details of the part played by two helicopters on 5th February when the submarine depot ship "Montclare" was in difficulties during a gale.
§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasTwo Drangonfly helicopters and one Whirlwind helicopter went to the assistance of H.M.S. "Montclare." They were able to help in passing lines between the ship and two of the tugs which had gone to her assistance. One of the helicopters also transferred a medical officer.
