73. Mr. N. Macpherson

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies on what abandoned projects of the Colonial Development Corporation the Treasury have agreed to waive interest in accordance with Section 5 of the Overseas Resources Development Act, 1954; and the total annual sum involved.

The exact annual sum of interest involved will not be known until final accounts are available but it is likely to be about £200,000. Following is the list:
