§ 50. Mr. Fenner Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on what date the conference on defence and the future of Cyprus at which Britain, Greece and Turkey are to be represented, will meet; and what will be the agenda.
§ Mr. NuttingThe Greek and Turkish Governments have accepted the invitation of Her Majesty's Government to a conference on political and defence questions affecting the Eastern Mediterranean, including Cyprus. The date for the conference is still under discussion. As stated by the Prime Minister on 30th June, it is proposed that there shall be no fixed agenda for the conference.
