Mr. John Hall

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many loyalists of all races have been killed or injured by Mau Mau terrorists since the beginning of the emergency.

Up to 15th January, 1955, 1,870 loyalists (68 Europeans, 21 Asians and 1,781 Africans) had been killed and 1,292 (85, 45 and 1,162, respectively) wounded.
