Miss Wardasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will publish the report of the Area Consultative Council appointed under the Gas Act, 1948, dealing with Tyneside, which was made after its meeting on 15th February complaining of the failure of gas pressure in the northern area during a recent cold spell.

§ Mr. Joynson-HicksI understand that the Council's Tyneside Divisional Committee passed a resolution on 15th February which will be considered by the full Council on 7th March. The Council's meetings are open to the Press and publication of any statement that may result is entirely a matter for the Council.
