§ 60. Mr. Vaughan-Morganasked the Minister of Health how many hospitals in England and Wales are now allowing the daily visiting of children by their parents; and whether he is satisfied that every effort is being made to facilitate this visiting.

§ Mr. Iain MacleodMy latest information is that of 1,362 hospitals admitting children, 852 (or 62½ per cent.) allow daily visiting, compared with less than 25 per cent. in 1952. Many others allow visiting on at least three days a week. I am not dissatisfied with the progress being made.
