asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement on the recent visit of the Minister of State to Aden.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

My right hon. Friend visited Aden during the recess for the purpose of acquainting himself with conditions in the Colony, and also the Aden Protectorate, which has never before been visited by a Minister. I am studying his report and hope to be able to make a statement in the near future.
