HC Deb 21 December 1955 vol 547 cc332-3W
Mr. Brockway

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies by what means detainees in Kenya, who have been tried for offences under the Emergency Regulations and found not guilty either in the original court or on appeal, can secure their liberation.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

Any detained person, in addition to his right of appeal to an advisory committee, may secure release by satisfying the authorities that, through his rehabilitation, the reasons for his detention no longer obtain.
