HL Deb 20 December 1955 vol 195 cc388-9WA
EARL HOWE

asked Her Majesty's Government whether they can give the road accident figures for the points or areas covered by the approved major Road Improvement Development Schemes referred to in the Written Answer of 15th November to a question by the Lord Lucas of Chilworth.

THE EARL OF SELKIRK

Figures of accidents at twenty-nine of the road improvement sites are given below. I am afraid that I cannot provide any information about accidents at the remaining sites at present, as a number of police forces have not yet been able to extract the figures from their records. I will write to the noble Earl as soon as the figures are received.
