§ Mr. de Freitasasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will consider sympathetically the application of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society for a disused airfield to be used as the permanent site for their annual show.
Mr. WardYes. We have noted the Society's request and are now in touch with the Ministry of Agriculture to see what can be done to meet it. I am afraid, however, that the disposal of surplus airfields is inevitably a lengthy process, and it is bound to be some time before it is possible to let the Society have a firm decision.
