asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies in what Colonial Territories, British protected persons have been given the vote.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

British Protected Persons are entitled to vote in the following territories:

  • Gold Coast.
  • Nigeria.
  • Sierra Leone (Colony).
  • Gambia (Colony).

Kenya (Indian and Arab British protected Persons only).

Federation of Malaya. (Limited to British Protected Persons who have that status by reason of their connection with a Malay State.)

Singapore. (Limited to certain British Protected Persons who have that status by reason of their connection with certain neighbouring territories.)
