§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware that there is discontent among prisoners in 56W Peterhead Prison, Aberdeenshire; and if he will set up a public inquiry to ascertain and remove the causes of this discontent.
§ Mr. J. Stuart:I am satisfied, after very full inquiry, that conditions at Peterhead Prison are satisfactory and that no further inquiry is called for.
