§ Mr. T. Brownasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance if he will make a statement on the outcome of the discussions he had with Sir W. Bodkin, Minister of Social Security of the New Zealand Government, in June, 1954, on the question of the payment of reciprocal pensions to old-age pensioners.
§ Mr. MarplesDetailed proposals for a reciprocal agreement on retirement pensions and other social security benefits were given to Sir William Bodkin before he returned to New Zealand. I understand, however, that the New Zealand Government have decided to defer consideration of the matter for the time being.
