§ 103. Mr. Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what additional contributions Her Majesty's Government is prepared to make to help backward countries, in view of the resolution adopted by the Economic Committee of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations on 2nd August, 1954, recommending the General Assembly to ask members in a position to provide capital to keep the question under review.
§ Mr. TurtonThis matter is being debated at the moment in the General Assembly of the United Nations. So far there have been no developments leading Her Majesty's Government to change the view expressed by my right hon. and learned Friend in his reply to the hon. Member for Bradford, South (Mr. George Craddock) on 2nd June.
