§ Mr. Cooper-Keyasked the Minister of Education whether he has considered the resolution passed by the Rye Branch of the National Fanners Union on the subject of the project of the East Sussex County Council to establish a secondary school which would provide instruction in agriculture, details of which have been sent to him; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Sir D. EcclesI have considered this resolution. The proposal by the East Sussex Local Education Authority to establish a course in agriculture at Rye Grammar School was approved by my predecessor after very careful examination of all the aspects of the scheme. I see no grounds for reconsidering her decision.
