§ 21. Sir J. Lucasasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will give an assurance that for the present he will sanction applications not only from landlords but from tenant-farmers and shooting tenants to shoot rabbits by night in England and Wales, in view of his expressed desire to eliminate the rabbit from agricultural and forest land; and if he will introduce legislation to eliminate the necessity for such applications for the future.
Mr. AmoryI have no jurisdiction in regard to the shooting of rabbits at night. The rights of landlords and others depend on the general law on this subject and in particular on Section 6 of the Ground Game Act, 1880.
