79. Mr. Dugdaleasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he will make a further statement on the future of the naval base at Simonstown as soon as the Admiralty Mission returns from South Africa.
§ Commander NobleThe discussions by officials on naval co-operation to which I referred in the reply that I gave to the hon. Member for Cardiff, South-East (Mr. Callaghan) on 27th October have been concluded and study of the report on them will begin shortly. This will take some time, and meanwhile I have nothing to add.
