80. Mr. Burden

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the extent of the damage to the machinery of H.M.S. "Delight"; and how far this damage is attributed to sabotage.

I have nothing to add to the reply given to the right hon. Member for Rochester and Chatham (Mr. Bottomley) on 16th November, 1954.

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what additional security measures were undertaken on H.M.S. "Delight" after the discovery of the initial damage to her machinery.

Certain additional security measures were taken, but I do not think it would be wise to disclose their nature.
