asked the First Lord of the Admiralty when he anticipates that the Royal Sailors Home Club, Portsmouth, now being built under Admiralty supervision, will be completed.

My hon. and gallant Friend is under a misapprehension in thinking that this club is being built under Admiralty supervision. It is a private venture belonging to, and managed by, officers and men of the Royal Navy. It is not therefore for me to express any view on the probable date of completion.
