§ 72. Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he will make a report available on the experiences of local education authorities operating the promotion scheme for pupils proceeding from primary to secondary schools.
§ Mr. J. StuartI do not propose to issue a special report on this subject. I shall, however, continue to watch the working of promotion schemes and to comment upon it from time to time in the annual report on education in Scotland.
