HC Deb 15 November 1954 vol 533 c11W
92. Mr. Noel-Baker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many members of the United Nations voted at the present session of the Council for the admission of Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos; and how many voted against.

Mr. Turton

The Security Council has not considered these applications since September, 1952. The right hon. Member may, however, be referring to the current Session of the General Assembly, which has not yet considered a draft resolution recommending the admission to the United Nations of Laos and Cambodia.
