§ 89. Mr. Thornton-Kemsleyasked the Minister of Food the average weekly releases of imported bacon in the period of decontrol to the latest available date, as compared with the average weekly releases for a similar period before decontrol and in the equivalent period last year.
Mr. AmoryUp to 23rd October, 1954, the average weekly rate of release of imported bacon in the sixteen weeks since decontrol was 6,010 tons. The average rate in the sixteen weeks ended on 3rd July, 1954, was 6,460 tons, and in the sixteen weeks ended on 17th October, 1953, was 6,740 tons.
