asked the Secretary of State for Scotland on what occasions in the last three years his Department of Agriculture inspectors have been instructed to reinspect a bull after it had been condemned; and whether the decision has been upheld on appeal.

I am not aware of any occasion in this period on which a bull has been reinspected after it had been rejected for licence unless to ensure that an order for castration had been complied with. The second part of the Question does not, therefore, arise.
