Lieut.-Colonel Lockwoodasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he is aware of the increasing danger and inconvenience resulting from the through traffic now using High Street, Brentwood, Essex, A.12; and whether he will, at an early date, implement the representations of the Brentwood Urban District Council for the provision of a by-pass road.
§ Mr. MolsonI know about the danger and inconvenience in High Street, Brentwood, and an Order fixing the line of a by-pass has already been made. I am unable to say when this work, which will be expensive, can be undertaken.
