§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasThe amount actually spent on the Royal Yacht to date is approximately £1,900,000. The original estimate of the total cost at prices ruling in November, 1952 was £1,800,000; the present estimate, based on the latest information available, is some £2,100,000. She was accepted into service on 11th January.
