§ Mr. LytteltonI am kept informed of the results of research carried out in the United Kingdom and in other countries; and a close liaison is maintained between the Meteorological Office in London and Colonial Meteorological Departments on this and other meteorological matters. Rain-making experiments were carried out in East Africa in 1951 and 1952. The results were inconclusive and further trials are being considered.
