§ Brigadier Petoasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will ensure that the British Travel and Holidays Association will consult the British Transport Commission with a view to arranging to satisfy the urgent need for cheap 14-day excursion tickets and other concessions to assist the tourist trade in North Devon this summer.
Mr. AmoryThe British Travel and Holidays Association are in constant touch with the British Transport Commission about travel facilities to all holiday areas including North Devon, and I understand that they have already put forward to the Commission a suggestion similar to that made by my hon. and gallant Friend.
