HC Deb 02 June 1954 vol 528 c93W
Sir A. Bossom

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what information he has regarding the causes of road accidents in rural areas to show how many and what percentage of these may be attributed to bad driving, faulty machines, side-slips or skidding due to surface condition of the roads, or the weather, respectively.

Mr. Molson

I am afraid our statistics do not show the figures for rural areas separately, but I think my hon. Friend will find some interesting information on the points he has in mind in "Road Accidents, 1952," of which I am sending him a copy.
