§ 6. Mr. J. Silvermanasked the Minister of Labour what steps he is taking to recruit to Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Factories persons with substantial industrial experience.
§ Mr. WatkinsonCandidates who have considerable works or other special practical experience are eligible to compete in the open competitions for class II factory inspectors. A competition is now in progress and selected candidates will shortly be interviewed.
§ 7. Mr. J. Silvermanasked the Minister of Labour, when any warning is given in an industrial establishment by one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Factories, what persons in such establishment are informed of this warning, other than those legally responsible.
