§ Mr. W. Griffithsasked the Minister of Health what action he is taking to reduce the waiting period for tonsil and adenoid operations being experienced by children at the Park Hospital, Davyhulme, Manchester.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodI am informed that the present waiting periods are unusually high because it has not yet been possible to fill the vacancy caused by a recent resignation from the medical staff. Temporary assistance has however been provided to hold three operating sessions a week at this hospital and thereby reduce the waiting list.
